Fans of the BBC soap believe that Kathy Beale is a much more hypocrite than Cindy Beale. They agree that Cindy will remain a powerful villain. However, Kathy’s judgmental attitude makes her no less than a villain, too.
As fans might remember, Kathy played an important role in disposing of Keanu Taylor’s body. She did so to protect Linda Carter who stabbed him in self-defence to save Sharon Watts.
Along with other women, Kathy buried Keanu’s body under the floorboards of Bridge Street Cafe. And it was Kathy who hastily mixed the cement used to entomb the body in the cafe’s foundations. Later, she even sacrificed her marriage to protect the group. She turned Rocky over to the police for the cafe fire. Kathy ensured that he was out of the way.
Meanwhile, we know Cindy Beale’s bad deeds, too. Fans are aware that Cindy slept with George’s son Junior despite being engaged to Ian Beale. In fact it was later revealed that she didn’t love Junior. The sinister woman used him for sex and as a physical reminder of George Knight.
