Greg’s Revenge Rocks The Slaters
It all started after Greg Dolan was cornering Zoe Slater in The Vic. He had been searching for her for weeks now. And now he finally got hold of her where he exactly wanted. Greg forced her into a terrifying confrontation. Kat Slater was shattered to see Zoe in such a terrible condition.
Later, Greg ordered Zoe to empty the pub tills. It was clear that he wanted money and also wanted to show his power. He then revealed that he knows Zoe’s search for her long-lost son. Zoe was shocked as she couldn’t hide her fears anymore from him or anybody around.
However, things turned from bad to worse. Tommy Moon arrived at the pub. He had no clue of the danger looming inside. When Greg saw Tommy, he was furious and he threatened more violence. Stacey, who was also present in the pub, asked Greg to calm down. She even suggested he take the safe upstairs. She just wanted to protect her family. However, everybody was still in fear.
The Slaters were struggling inside, and Jack Branning was crumbling outside. He couldn’t get over his guilt of accidentally shooting Zoe. He told Denise Fox the entire truth, and he wanted to confess it to Zoe. Jack had a feeling that revealing the truth would only give him his lost peace. However, Denise didn’t want him to do so. She insisted that he keep it a secret. She feared that it would destroy their family if he went to prison. Denise believed he did not do it intentionally, so he doesn’t need to speak up.
EastEnders’ Jack And Ravi Take Their Shot
Denise was worried that Jack would confess to his crime anyway. She turned to Ravi Gulati for help. She thought Ravi would help Jack see his future and the consequences of his decision. However, they both landed outside the Vic after hearing the commotion. They decided to step in; however, before anybody could do anything, Kat Slater did something unbelievable.
She took a cricket bat and knocked Greg out. He soon collapsed, and everybody was relieved. In a panic, Zoe accidentally revealed that Greg had shot her weeks ago. However, Jack and Ravi knew what they could do with it.
They both decided to frame Greg as the shooter by planting a gun on him. Jack thought that by doing so, he would be clear of all the suspicions, and the secret of the shooting incident would be closed forever. Ravi handled the plan with calculated accuracy. Later, Jack informs Denise of what happened. He tells her that Greg will go to prison and their family will finally be at peace again.
This incident brought Zoe and Kat closer. Kat even promised her daughter that she would also stand by her side to search for the missing child.
