EastEnders actor Jack Wood is possibly returning to the soap very soon. According to The Sun, he can be seen back to Walford anytime soon this year. A source told the publication that the bosses are excited to have him back, as ‘his reappearance means spicing up the plots.’ “There is plenty to go at. Max has loads of unfinished business in the Square and is set to ruffle some feathers,” the source added.
Jack previously said that he is really pleased that the makers have left the doors open for his possible return. The news came after actress Lacey Turner last week announced that she is all set to take a break from the soap. Apparently, her character Stacey was the former lover of Max Branning.
After her announcement, a spokesperson said, “We can confirm that Lacey will be off-screen later this year, but there is plenty of drama to come beforehand.” The spokesperson further added that the team is already looking forward to planning her comeback whenever she is ready.
Actress Lauren admitted it while speaking to OK! Magazine that she feels guilty for leaving her kids behind for work. She continued by saying that it is a never-ending cycle.
