Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness has joined EastEnders as Jasmine, a mysterious young woman who isn’t afraid to push her way into Albert Square life. Jasmine has arrived at The Albert in the BBC soap. She is here only for one goal: to get a position, a job. She goes to Cindy Beale to seek her help. Cindy Beale initially turned her down. She is unsure if Jasmine is ready to handle the busy pub life. However, Jasmine really proves her skills. Her dedication impresses Cindy, and she gets hired.
However, the bar manager, Elaine Knight, is not sure about hiring Jasmine. She sees something suspicious about her and is watching her every action very closely. Now Jasmine has to prove herself to earn this position. And that she can navigate the existing hierarchy. No doubt she is resourceful, but now she will have to manage her relationships with Cindy, Elaine and other regulars. She has to avoid clashing with people.
Jasmine is brave, and she doesn’t think before taking any initiative. She has problem-solving skills and can also adapt to tricky situations very quickly. She possesses all the qualities to survive in the Square.
EastEnders Flirtings, Warning And Potential Romance
Things are soon going to take an intense turn. Oscar Branning sees Jasmine in the Square. He makes her laugh, but Cindy tells her to pull back. Cindy knows that their romance could bring trouble at work and also create unnecessary drama. Jasmine is in two minds now. She doesn’t know if she should follow Cindy’s advice or explore her chemistry with Oscar.
Oscar is leaving no chance to impress her. He even steals an outfit from the market and hands it over to her. However, fans have noticed one thing. They feel there is something more to Jasmine’s story. They believe she has some connections in Walford.
Donaldson-Holness is bringing her charisma and energy to Jasmine. She promises to make her a memorable addition to the BBC soap. Her debut will be aired on Tuesday, 23rd September.
