Zoe Snaps As The Farewell Turns Into A Nightmare
The Slaters try to keep the day cheerful. They want Freddie and Anna to have a soft sendoff. The family has already been through a lot of stuff and didn’t want more chaos. And so they decorate the place and are smiling all the way. However, it felt like everyone was pretending to be calm. Elsewhere, Jean was struggling behind every smile.
She is pretending to keep herself moving. It is because she doesn’t want anyone to ask how she feels. Jean doesn’t like to slow down when her mind becomes restless. And that’s why she is pushing hard. Elsewhere, Lily is scared and concerned for her as she is keeping things within herself.

Moreover, even Zoe reaches her breaking point. She has been receiving anonymous messages from a mystery person. And that’s breaking her confidence. Even while Kat tries to guide her daughter but she isnt able to move forward.
Jean’s Emotional Spiral Deepens In EastEnders
Meanwhile, Freddie’s departure from Walford has shaken Jean badly. First, Stacey and now Freddie are walking away. She firmly believes that the people she loves the most will leave her at some point and that she will be the only one left. Nevertheless, she still attempts to convince herself that she is up to the challenge. Unfortunately, her lips are going against her, and her signs are showing a different thing.
Elsewhere, Lily also sees strain in Jean’s eyes. Kat is trying to hold everybody tight. After Zoe accused Tommy of tormenting her, things escalated. And so Kat was forced to tell Zoe to leave the house. Later, Lily tries to speak to Jean again. She tried to calm her grandmother. And even warns that she has been taking too much stress. Moreover, she asks her to seek help from Dr Anthony Trueman. However, Jean instantly snaps at her, saying she doesn’t need any help.

When Lily is alone with her thoughts, she decides that the family cannot continue in this way. Lily is aware that the problem gets bigger when people put on a show that they are alright.
