EastEnders is about to conclude one of its biggest storylines of the year. Since his arrival, Joel Marshall has been the source of great trouble in Walford, and perhaps the most shocking of all was his stepmother, Vicki Fowler. Joel Faces Consequences as Court Drama Looms
Joel’s actions have made a redemption angle impossible. The worst he did was that he attacked Vicki Fowler and left her for dead. He also didn’t have humanity left and recorded the whole incident on his phone. However, somebody had to put an end to his evil deeds, and so Ross, his father, stepped in.
Ross had always neglected Joel’s actions, thinking he would change. However, that did not happen. With each passing day, he became more dangerous and negative. When everybody was accusing Joel of Vicki’s state, Ross trusted his son. However, doubts were clear when he found Joel’s laptop, which had evidence of Joel’s heinous crimes.
Elsewhere, Tommy Moon had helped Joel to hide, but Ross informed the police about his whereabouts, and he was arrested. Not just this, he had even filmed Avani while they had sex without her permission. And now his finals day on the soap seems likely. Details are still secret, but Joel may soon face justice in court.
Elsewhere, Vicki is still struggling to come out of that brutal attack. She even ended her relationship with Ross after learning the truth. Also, Ross has been kicked out of Sharon’s house and has no clue about his future. Meanwhile, Tommy is affected after Joel’s arrest and can be redeemed. He may genuinely try to change himself after everything that has happened.
Avani And The Square Move Forward In EastEnders
Now that Joel is leaving, Avani could move forward and start fresh. The doors have now been opened to her. The daily presence of Joel has been removed, and she can now go through the process of restarting her life. The audience will need to observe to gauge how much of his leaving she is responsible for, but the possibility is there.
