Jasmine’s Lies Collapse In Front Of Everyone
Jasmine Fisher never expected that her web of lies would close in this fast. The troublemaker had spent weeks steering Kat toward Chrissie Watts. She made her grandmother believe that the pub showdown and old grudges made Chrissie guilty. Also, even Kat believed whatever she said for a long time. The pub landlady was desperate to save her daughter, to save Zoe. And so she wanted to blame someone.
However, when Chrissie stepped back into Walford, things changed. Not holding back, she made it clear that Jasmine isnt the sweet, harmless girl that Kat wants to protect. After hearing all this, the grandmother was forced to see things she ignored until now. Kat realised that she had been played.
Also, the truth of Anthony’s death was in front of her the whole time. Without wasting another second, she went into rescue mode. She was determined to bring Jasmine home and seek answers she should have long before.
Kat Calls The Police, And Jasmine Is Arrested In EastEnders
Once Jasmine returned, she was caught in her own mess. She opened up that she killed Anthony in self-defence. However, when the pub matriarch looked behind, the young woman ran away. Later, Sam Mitchell asked her to report Jamsine to the police. But soon, Jasmine returned with the murder weapon.
The culprit wanted to frame Chrissie and had hoped that her grandmother would back her. Nevertheless, before the latter could answer, the police came and took her away. Kat had already made a decision. She handed over her own granddaughter, choosing justice for Zoe over the family secrets.
Also, the sight of Jasmine being taken away shocked the whole Square. Patrick, the Truemans, and everyone around the pub could barely process what they were seeing. Even Jasmine was looking terrified and alone while officers pulled her away.
