EastEnders spoilers suggest that Cindy is all set to return, which seems explosive. While she is all set to return, actress Michelle Collins has finally spoken about her character’s comeback. She said that Cindy has come back wanting to make amends. She hopes to get back with her family.
“But I don’t think what she doesn’t realise is that people have not forgotten, and they’re not going to forgive her that easily,” Michelle explained. She further added that she thinks that she will be welcomed by everyone with open hands, but she gets a cold welcome instead.
Michelle explained, “She thinks they’ll go, ‘Oh, everything is forgiven,’ and actually, it doesn’t go that way.” She further added that Cindy was really deluded. Collin further said that Cindy was not here for so long; that is why she doesn’t know how deeply everyone was affected by the explosion. “But I think she is remorseful,” Michelle added.
The soap star further added that her pushing Ian was a catalyst for the events that followed. She continues by saying that if Ian wouldn’t have reacted that way, she might not have retaliated. It would not have led to the explosion. Collins added, “So in a sense, I think she feels that he is just as much to blame as she is.”
Cindy Is Good in Crisis, Says Mitchelle
Michelle also spoke about how Cindy really cares about her kids, especially Peter. She explained that her love for the kids is unconditional. Though she might not be a good mother, she has fought for her kids again and again. Collins then said that let’s not forget that what Kathy did is not acceptable too.
In the upcoming episode, after her dramatic entry and a bombshell revelation, Lauren will be going into labour. “Cindy is good in a crisis, and she does what she has to do to get Lauren to the hospital,” Michelle added.
Cindy will be the first person to find Lauren after her water breaks. The actress said that Cindy has been very honest about not liking her son’s fiancée; she might try to make some amends with her. Additionally, Collins has also teased that Cindy “wouldn’t go down without a fight.” Does this indicate the unexpected that is on its way? Time will tell.
