Over the last few months, EastEnders has bid farewell to many legendary characters. Recently, during the 40th-anniversary celebration, we saw Martin Fowler and Reiss Colwell leaving the soap. EastEnders’ All Set For Another Legend’s Exit
Patsy Palmer, who plays Bianca Jackson, just returned last month for the 40th anniversary celebration and was seen in some major and exciting storylines. The 52-year-old recently confirmed her exit, but it seems she isn’t ready to leave yet. She took her X account to inform her fans about her exit and wrote that she ‘appreciates the love fans pour on her and Bianca’s return.’
She also added – “I don’t make the rules about what my character does or doesn’t do so please don’t ever think I do.” In addition, Natalie Cassidy, who plays Sonia, has also confirmed her exit recently. Whereas Felix Baker’s character portrayed by Matthew James Morrison will soon film his final scenes on EastEnders
Bianca’s Stint On The Show
Viewers know Bianca is dealing with PTSD after she was held hostage for several months by her sister’s ex- fiancé Reiss. He killed his wife Debbie, framed Sonia for the crime and later kidnapped Bianca. Eventually the tables turned and he got crushed under a bathtub, when Bianca pushed him to death. Later she helped her sister in giving birth and in between all that Martin Fowler died.
Since then, she’s still not able to get herself back on track but has found some with the return of Grant Mitchell. He was seen helping her coming out of a panic attack at the launderette. He realised she has PTSD while he was trying to calm her down. It is devastating to see so many iconic characters leaving. But we hope and wish them well for their future.
