EastEnders’ Michelle Collins’ Honest Confession
EastEnders actress Michelle Collins has recently returned to the soap after a small break. Her character, Cindy, came back to the soap with a dramatic plot. The actress recently said, ‘They gave me a bit of time off; you get a bit exhausted.’ She further explained that she was really tired of Cindy and needed that time off.
Michelle further said that it does not mean she doesn’t like playing Cindy; she loves it. The soap star further added, “She’s unapologetic, a lawbreaker, bold, and you just never know what she’s going to do next.”
Adding to this, she said that although she is dysfunctional and interesting, she is sort of passionate and vulnerable too. “All those things are great to play as an actor,” she added.
Collins then explained how Cindy thinks if someone tells her that they hate Cindy, she believes she can change the perception. She also added that Cindy loves her children very much. “Granted, she may not be the perfect mum, but she is still their mum, and she has fought for her kids a lot over the years,” she added.
Cindy’s Recent Stint
Speaking of Cindy, she took a break from the Square and went to live with her friend Gita Kapoor. She left the square after she got the news that Kathy attacked her during Christmas.
Now when she came back and gatecrashed her son’s engagement party. Everyone was not really happy to see her. When Lauren lashed out at her and she saw everyone else’s cold reaction to her, she revealed the truth to everyone.
She ruined the party by telling the truth about Kathy attacking her during Christmas. But she was utterly shocked when she got to know that Peter and Lauren already knew everything. Later she left the party and went to speak to Lauren, but she found that she was going into labour. She had no option but to help her. She took her to hospital, and Lauren gave birth to a boy.
