EastEnders: A Turning Point In Walford
During a chat on The One Show, Shane was so enthusiastic about the soap’s big moment. And while celebrating the win, he also announced a playful bombshell that he’s hoping to convince legendary actor David Jason to join EastEnders.
Shane joked with hosts Alex Jones and Angellica Bell that the award presentation by Jason was already a dream moment, but having him on the show? That’s the next big job. He hasn’t proposed the idea to him yet but hinted he might be luring him with a drink.
Kat Cancels The Wedding!!
As Shane dreams of a new cast member, another storyline is falling apart, and fans are devastated. Kat and Alfie’s third time around should have been a clean slate of sparkle, glamour and all the feelings in the right places, but just when it felt everything was perfect, the unthinkable happened.
Kat jumps to the conclusion when she finds explicit content on the family laptop, assuming that Alfie is the one who owns the content. Hours before the ceremony, she runs away, feeling cheated and humiliated. She denies tying the knot, as she thinks that she has just another reason to doubt him.
But there was a catch; the video wasn’t Alfie’s. It was their son Tommy’s, who has come under the bad influence of new friend Joel. And as Alfie desperately tries to make it right, Kat calls the whole wedding off. In an instant, the wedding was cancelled and Alfie was left alone and had no idea what happened next.
