EastEnders Iconic Ross Kemp Says, Leave Doors Swinging Rather Than Shut
EastEnders star Ross Kemp recently came back to the soap as Grant Mitchell for the 40th anniversary episodes. He was missing from the soap for nine years. Now the soap star has opened up about returning to the soap again.
Recently he appeared on Loose Women, where he said, “You just don’t know, do you?” He further said that the viewers don’t know about the minds of the makers. “I’ve also known that without it, I wouldn’t have had the career that I’ve had,” he further added. Ross further explained that he owns it as a great debt and it was good for him, and he hopes that the makers feel the same, so why would he not want to keep it that way? “I’ve believed that you should leave doors swinging rather than shut them.”
Ross Kemp Said, ‘Was Wonderful to Jump into Grant’s Leather Jacket’

Kemp further said that Phil actor Steve McFadden, Paul Bradley who plays Nigel and Sharon actor Letitia opened the door for him. And it felt like going ‘back home’. “It was great,” he further added. Ross Kemp very recently also spoke about how he felt being “fried” over his brief return to the soap. He said, “Grant comes back, and within a minute, he’s fighting, crying, and making love.
