EastEnders character Lily has been going through emotional turmoil. She had an argument and decided to go to her biological father, Ryan Malloy. But who is Ryan? Keep reading to know more about him.
Lily Leaves To Stay With Ryan!
Lily left Albert Square after she realised that she wanted some space from her mother, Stacey, after Martin Fowler’s death. Soap fans know that Martin Fowler died in February in an explosion at The Queen pub. Though it seemed that he might survive when he moved towards the barrel store with Stacey, a beam fell from the ceiling and he died. Before dying, Martin confessed his love for Stacey. He told her he shouldn’t have reunited with Ruby Allen.
She couldn’t come to the incident and locked herself in the bedroom. Meanwhile, in this week’s episode, Lily had to take care of her younger siblings, Arthur and Hope, along with Charlie. Meanwhile, Stacey had a meltdown when she learned the memories of Martin had been washed at the laundrette. Fortunately, Mathur had Martin’s phone, but Lily thought getting it wouldn’t help her. However, the mother and daughter argued. Lily said she was packing her bags and leaving to stay with Ryan.
Who Is Ryan?
Lily’s biological father is Ryan Malloy. Soap viewers know that Ryan is Whitney Dean’s brother. He appeared in 2009 in the Square to disclose his identity to his sister. Later, he was involved in a relationship with Janine Butcher and eventually married. But things took a turn when Ryan slept with Stacey. He later found out that she was pregnant. Meanwhile, Bradley was married to Stacey at that time and believed Stacey’s baby to be his, but realised that it wasn’t possible. Elsewhere, Stacey thought that Archie who raped her was the father but later learned that Ryan was the dad.
Meanwhile, Ryan didn’t know that Lily was his daughter. Later, when he saved her from the fire, Stacey disclosed the truth. Initially, he didn’t accept this, but later he wanted to be there for Lily. Later, Ryan and Stacey had an affair again. However, when Jannie discovered this, she tried to poison Ryan. When he learned about her actions, he chose to stay with Stacey. Janie stabbed herself, framing Stacey.
Then Stacey ran away with Lily while Ryan left Walford after Rob was found dead. He returned in 2014 and 2016, wanting to be Lily’s father, but ended up stealing money from the Queen Vic. But later returned the money and agreed to go to prison if Lily and Whit visited him. However, due to a lack of proof, he was released.
He and the prison guard, Helen, were in a relationship and got engaged. Meanwhile, Lily and Ryan saw each other in 2023, and he invited her to stay with him and Helen. Soap fans are curious – What will happen in the upcoming episodes? Keep following Soap Opera Daily for more EastEnders updates!
