Matthew Steps Into A Fresh Journey After Leaving EastEnders

Matthew Morrison has moved from Albert Square to a busy theatre schedule. He will be playing Cosme McMonn in the anniversary tour of Glorious. It is a popular comedy and ran in the West End. In this story, the focus will be on the life of Florence Jenkins. And Wendi Peters plays it on the tour.

People knew Florence in the United States as she had an unusual voice. She also had a bold spirit, and it was during the earlier decades of the twentieth century. Not only this she was even mocked for her singing. Despite‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ that, she was able to attract a large number of people to her shows at big places. Her performance at Carnegie Hall was a sell-out. In the show, her bond with accompanist Cosme will also be explored.

Elsewhere, Matthew will take the role as the pair moves through a story with Florence’s loud dreams. Meanwhile, Wendi was in Coronation Street, where she played Cilla Battersby. She then played Nina Bulsara on Doctors. And made other appearances in many British television shows.

She also participated in several entertainment programmes. And with this has built a steady career on stage. Her recent theatre work included major musicals and regional tours. Elsewhere, she was last seen playing Mother Superior in the touring version of Sister Act.

A Busy Road Ahead

Glorious always got attention because it has a mix of real history and light comedy. It follows Florence as she continues climbing towards a dream that many people had not thought of. She never cared about people who laughed at her or criticised her. Instead, she used to book bigger venues. And even wore bold outfits which fans couldn’t forget. At that time, even respected names, including composer Cole Porter and conductor Sir Thomas Beecham, supported her.
