EastEnders Star Michelle Collins Gets Injured
The incident happened in Norfolk, where Michelle tried to grab her pet. However, it resulted in a bashed knee and several cuts. The actress shared images of herself using crutches. Also, she was seen wearing a protective walking boot to control the damage.
This injury caused by the tumble has now reduced her physical limitations. Hence, Michelle informed everyone that she will be filming “sitting down” segments for the time being.
The caption read, “Fell over trying to stop Pehhy bolting out the door while staying with friends in Norfolk bashed my knee, cuts and bruises. Staff were great, #efficient #kind despite apparently very low on hospital league tbale I would never have known from the service I got. Seems so unfair to label a hospital like this not great for morale as one of the lovely nurses said.”
She added further, “Happy Easter xx. Sitting down scenes this week! @bbceastenders.” Her co-stars were quick to respond. Balvinder Sopal commented, “Oh, love with a heart emoji.” While Harriet Thorpe shared, “OMG darling, so sorry, sending all love.” Even fans shared their concern with one saying, “Oh no!!! Michelle Recently Lost Humphrey
Before this physical setback, there was personal grief for Michelle. Just recently, her family said goodbye to their long-term companion, a Shih tzu named Humphrey. The rescue dog was a constant presence in the actress’s life for sixteen years. He also often accompanies her to various dressing rooms. Not only this, but he even joined her on an extensive theatre tour across the country.
