EastEnders’ Michelle Collins RUSHED To Hospital , Is She OK?

EastEnders star Michelle Collins recently landed in the hospital. She had a fall involving her dog, Peggy. The actress posted photos of her injuries. Also, she thanked the medical staff for their quick support during the accident. But now fans are curious how this will change her role as Cindy Beale on the show. Will we see less of her? EastEnders Star Michelle Collins Gets Injured

The incident happened in Norfolk, where Michelle tried to grab her pet. However, it resulted in a bashed knee and several cuts. The actress shared images of herself using crutches. Also, she was seen wearing a protective walking boot to control the damage.

This injury caused by the tumble has now reduced her physical limitations. Hence, Michelle informed everyone that she will be filming “sitting down” segments for the time being. 

The caption read, “Fell over trying to stop Pehhy bolting out the door while staying with friends in Norfolk bashed my knee, cuts and bruises. Staff were great, #efficient #kind despite apparently very low on hospital league tbale I would never have known from the service I got. Seems so unfair to label a hospital like this not great for morale as one of the lovely nurses said.” 

She added further, “Happy Easter xx. Sitting down scenes this week! @bbceastenders.” Her co-stars were quick to respond. Balvinder Sopal commented, “Oh, love with a heart emoji.” While Harriet Thorpe shared, “OMG darling, so sorry, sending all love.” Even fans shared their concern with one saying, “Oh no!!! Wishing you better soon. Sending you healing energy.” Someone else wrote, “Oh no! Hope you are ok x try and rest xx take care xx.” 

Michelle Recently Lost Humphrey

Before this physical setback, there was personal grief for Michelle. Just recently, her family said goodbye to their long-term companion, a Shih tzu named Humphrey. The rescue dog was a constant presence in the actress’s life for sixteen years. He also often accompanies her to various dressing rooms. Not only this, but he even joined her on an extensive theatre tour across the country.
