EastEnders spoilers have confirmed an iconic storyline for the soap’s 40th anniversary. Billy and Honey Mitchell, one of the show’s most beloved on-again, off-again couples, are finally heading down the aisle! We recently saw the duo finalising the date as February 19, 2025, the day EastEnders hits its four-decade milestone, will also see wedding bells ringing in Albert Square.
We know the BBC programme always plans something big when it comes to such a big milestone. Moreover, we know that this wedding will not be drama-free as the Queen Vic is also all set to go up in flames, as confirmed in recent studio pictures. Regular viewers know that there will be a historic live episode where fans will get to vote on the outcome of one storyline in particular.
The executive producer of the show, Chris Clenshaw, also opened up and said, “I can’t say too much. What I will say is it’s explosive.” OMG! The bosses have finally spoken and consider us very intrigued. He also added, “Apart from the live episode, we’ve pretty much shot most of it. It’s looking brilliant. Expect everything!” Along with Chris, Ian Beale actor Adam also shed light on it and called the upcoming narratives, ‘honestly brilliant.’
