Natalie Cassidy, 42, wore a polka dot dress and shared pictures on Instagram while talking about her book Happy Days.
She captioned one snap “This Proud”, reflecting her joy over this recent milestone.
But the buzz was short-lived. Natalie also jumped onto Instagram to quash an unkind false report that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Angered, she described the headline as “disgusting and disgraceful”, saying it was entirely fake and hurtful, particularly to those who were fighting illness.
Natalie Says Goodbye As BBC Ditches Hit Podcast With Joanna Page
Away from Walford, Natalie had partnered with Welsh actress Joanna Page for their BBC podcast Off The Telly. The show ran the gamut from TV rumour to Masked Singer speculation and even Natalie’s jitters before the soap’s 40th anniversary episode.
Although it will earn dedicated listeners, the podcast will end on May 21. Joanna announced on Instagram, expressing gratitude to fans and requesting that they post their favourite moments up to the last show.
A BBC spokesperson said the show was only meant to last six months but ended up running for over a year with 80 episodes. They teased future projects, stating, “We look forward to working with Nat and Jo again soon!”
