In the aftermath, Nigel has been constantly thinking about the accident. His mind has been replaying the moment when his car hit Gina Knight and Jasmine Fisher. Nigel wanted to take one last drive in his vehicle before selling it. Elsewhere, he was selling the car so that he could arrange some money to take Julie for a short trip to India.
However, when Jasmine saw that Nigel was driving towards them, she bravely pushed Gina to protect her. Moreover, both got injured and were taken to the hospital. After this, Nigel called Julie and informed her about the accident. Blinded by love, Julie tried to cover up for Nigel. She lied to him that he was not at fault. However, Nigel was constantly getting flashbacks of that moment.
He goes to the hospital to see Jasmine and Gina. By her bed, he asks what she meant after she got hurt. She’d said someone had to pay for what she’d done. So, Nigel wanted to confirm if it was true. But Jasmine did not reveal anything; instead told him that he was not behind the crash and that he should leave.
But Nigel was still not sure. He wasn’t convinced that he had not caused the accident. He then started searching through the bins at home. His shoes were there, covered in blood. They were the ones from the accident. Next, he goes straight away to Jack Branning and confesses to what he did.
Jasmine’s Secrets Unfold In EastEnders
Jasmine’s past is unclear. Since arriving in Walford, she’s been connected to Cindy Beale. Cindy was the only one who found potential in Jasmine and had offered her a job. She had come in, Freddie Slater’s replacement.
However, Jasmine has never spoken about her past. She also found a new love interest in Oscar Branning. The two have started to enjoy each other’s company. However, on Lauren Branning’s advice, Oscar questions Jasmine about whether she has been hiding something. Even Cindy and Elaine Peacock asked her to open up, but she said she doesn’t want to get into family business. And now Cindy and Elaine believe that she has some darker connections here in Walford.
Elsewhere, Jasmine often shows interest in learning about Cindy’s past. She had even gathered more information from Gina while the two were hanging out. She finds out that Cindy had faked her death once to escape from danger from her gangster cellmate, Jackie Ford. Cindy was in witness protection until Jackie died in prison.
