Does this thriving lifestyle mean she has closed the door on a Walford return for good? Keep scrolling to learn more.
Patsy Palmer Loves Her New Life In America
Patsy settled in Malibu with Richard Merkell and their children. Life in the Californian beach city gave the actress what she never fully had in Walford. Using her real name, Julie Anne Merkell, helped her where people had no old picture of who she once was. Now, Patsy is building her haircare brand Good and Proper Hair and preparing for her first hair spa in Malibu.

However, despite the freedome she does feel pressure of appearance. She admits that it can affect anyone. Patsy says that the most striking women she notices are the ones who dont go too far with treatments. In fact, the actress once tried an AI image to see how she might appear with a full facelift. And when she saw the results, she was convinced that it would not feel like her.
The actress left the UK during an emotional period. Patsy had lost her father and stepfather. That’s when she decided to choose a place where her children can live calmly. Hence, California felt the only option where she could continue acting if she explored new work. Now, Patsy has no plans to return to the UK.
Patsy Palmer’s Final Stint In EastEnders
Patsy played Bianca Jackson on the BBC soap. The actress returned for several chapters. Also, they were tied to the exit of her step-daughter, Whitney Dean and the downfall of the villain Reiss Colwell. Bianca reappeared when Whitney and Zack visited her in Milton Keynes.

Then Bianca returned to Albert Square for Whitney’s final episodes. She also uncovered that Reiss Colweel murdered his wife, Debbie. Hence, Reiss kidnapped Bianca and held her in a storage unit for months. But during the 40th anniversary live episode, she finally escaped. And then she helped her sister Sonia to give birth amid a major explosion at The Queen Vic.
After the trauma she had been through, Bianca left Walford once again. Meanwhile, do you miss Bianca? Let us know in the comments section. For more EastEnders spoilers and updates, keep following Soap Opera Daily.
