Ravi Struggles As The Police Close In
Ravi Gulati had made a deal with Jack Branning to save himself after the trouble involving Kojo Asare and Harry Mitchell. Now the Walfords’ hardman is pushed into the dangerous role of an informant because of that choice. Soon his problems deepen when he realises that Mark Junior is part of the same gang that he has been helping the police track.
He is trying to keep his calm around him, hiding the truth, but the guilt that he is feeling is getting bigger. At the pharmacy hostage scare, later, his mind slips again. The stress goes beyond what he can handle. Next week, Ravi also makes an effort to get better. However, very shortly, he finds out that the police are preparing a sting operation to nab some of the minor gang members.
Ravi knows that Mark could fall into their trap. The thought is pulling him apart, and he is unable to let it go. Soon, his wife, Priya Nandra-Hart, steps in again and tells him to leave it alone. She fears the danger will reach their home. Reminding him that he will put her and the rest of their family at risk if he tells Mark anything. Despite this, the two fail to agree. Also, the tension between them grows.
Ravi And Mark Drift Towards Trouble In EastEnders
Later, Ravi meets Mark at Harry’s Barn and thinks about telling him everything. The informant is trying to tell him the warning before it is too late. But Priya comes and stops him even before he can say anything. She pulls him, and firmly, she tells him that he should consider the safety of the family first.
Now, Ravi feels torn between his family and the bond he has formed with Mark. On that same night, Mark receives a call from the gang. They give him another job to carry out. However, he is unaware that the police are waiting for the right moment.
