Ravi’s Risky Warning Puts The Plan In Danger
Ravi Gulati has been secretly giving information to the police through Jack Branning. This has been happening ever since the fallout from the drug-dealing mess last year. After this, the informant was in a dangerous position. It’s because Mark Fowler arrived with one goal in mind. Mark wanted to find the person who was secretly informing on the gang.
Later, things got complicated when the duo started getting close. Ravi and Mark began working together and even shared a few drinks while talking about business. And because of this friendship, things became hard for Ravi. Priya’s husband knew that a police sting was being prepared to catch several lower-level members of the operation.
Jack Branning had informed him that arrests were about to happen. After which, Ravi struggles with what to do next. He knew that if he told Mark, it could destroy the police operation, and if stays quiet, it could send his friend to prison.
Elsewhere, Priya clearly makes the choice very clear. She tells her husband that the family would be safe if Mark went to bars. And that’s why Ravi should keep quiet and let events unfold. Earlier in the week, Ravi almost revealed the truth during a drink at Harry’s barn. However, Priya interrupted before any disclosure. Later, Priya warned Ravi again.
Mark Grows Suspicious After Escaping The Sting In EastEnders
However, despite Priya’s warnings, Ravi didn’t stay silent. When Mark was preparing to head out for the drop-off job, Ravi followed him. He then warns that the meeting point looked too exposed. Even though Mark ignores the concern, Ravi insists to him that something did not feel right.
Later, police cars stormed the location. And the officers arrest the other men involved in the deal. Also, Mark managed to run before the police could catch him. Back on the Square, Mark crossed paths with Priya just as Ravi returned. Soon, Mark pulled Ravi aside and thanked him for the warning. His warning helped him avoid arrest.
However, Ravi tried to play it down. He then explains that he simply had a bad feeling and wanted to help because they were friends. But Mark wasnt fully convinced. And then, when Ravi left, Mark quietly called his boss and said something chilling. “It’s about the rat. I’ve got him, said Mark.”
