Vicki saw Zack Hudson struggling again. His money problems got worse after he lost the flat he used to share with Barney. Earlier, Vicki tried to helo him by offering space at Sharon Watt’s house. However, he walked away because of their shared history. Recently, Zack stepped into the Minute Mart and saw her with Mark.
But the shocking part is that the moment he saw them he rushed out like he couldn’t trust himself to stay there. That’s when Mark immediately sensed that something was wrong. When he asked Vicki, she brushed it off. When they went home, she told him the real reason she wanted Zack close. And that is: Barney needed stability.
However, Mark was not able to buy her story fully. Hence, he warned her that it might only reopen trouble with Ross. elsewhere, Zack was planning to move in with a mate in Hackney. And Barney ended up back at Nicola’s place with all his bags. Soon, even Vicki told Zack that it was probably not a good idea for him to stay with her. That single word caught him and now he heard doubts in her voice.
However, Ross witnessed everything. Later, Vicki explained that Zack’s pride kept him from seeking help. Even Ross understood his reasons. But then Nicola cornered Zack on the street. She mocked him for not managing Barney on his own. And Ross overheard the entire thing.
