EastEnders teen pays the price for Joel’s twisted prank.
Tommy made a grave error in believing Joel Marshall followed the tube incident. Last month, Joel tricked Tommy into videotaping him as he played a prank. But it went wrong quickly; Joel acted as though he had tripped into a woman so he could grope her.
The woman, Isla, alerted the staff. But Joel’s stepmother, Vicki, talked her out of informing the police and even offered her money.
In the recent episode, Vicki saw Tommy watching the tape again and vowed to hold him accountable if he spoke. Joel had been giving Tommy the cold shoulder. However, rather than leave Tommy alone, Joel cornered him at the coffee shop and made a veiled threat.
Feeling superior, he assured him that he had not told Vicki about the video and walked away. Then Tommy apologised at the kebab shop. Joel pretended to be clueless and told Tommy to send him the video first and then delete it.
Tommy did just that. But then Joel flipped again. He pointed out to Tommy that the video was now on his phone and that he was the one who filmed and shared it.
