EastEnders: Vicki is Fired After Bernie Has Had Enough of Her
Vicki goes too far, and Bernie finally says no. She has been dealing with the Panesars’ accounts under Bernie’s supervision, but now her behaviour has a price tag.
Vicki had previously flagged up suspect invoices, but warning signals were waved aside.
She complained to Ravi, who instructed her to toe the line. Even Suki gave Bernie the benefit of the doubt and processed another claim.
Vicki appeared to hope things would settle. While writing documentation in the cafe, she informed Karen it would not be long before she joined her in Spain.
However, things turn when Sharon ejects her from the house for not paying her back. With no place to go and no money at all, Vicki pleads for an advance from Bernie. Bernie tells her no and fires her instead.
Vicki Fights Back Using Blackmail, But Ravi Has Other Plans
Vicki is not going to let up. She steals Bernie’s laptop and discovers what she thinks is evidence of theft. In a desperate attempt, she takes a risk and uses it to blackmail Bernie.
But this scheme quickly backfires. Bernie turns the tables and accuses Vicki of actually being the thief.
