EastEnders is preparing for dramatic changes both in and out of the studio next week. Keep reading to find out.
EastEnders: Programme Drops Routine
The usual Monday-to-Thursday pattern is put on hold as Walford modifies its schedule to fit in with high-grade sporting action. Next week, the soap will post two on Wednesday at 8 pm and one each on Thursday and Friday at 7 pm.
In an unusual gesture, the BBC One drama will mention this switch in the plot itself. Denise Fox, Kathy Beale, and Honey Mitchell go to The Vic to toast the Lionesses and their Euros 2025 bid.
While the iPlayer lineup goes undisclosed, viewers can look forward to drama on the pitch and Walford’s streets.
Chaos, Comebacks, And Cracks In Relationships
There is serious drama on tap next week. Ravi Gulati, in desperate need of quick cash after Bernie cleans out the Panesar accounts, rejoins drug dealing. He hides a carload of drugs in The Archers, where Harry Mitchell and Kojo Asare make a shocking discovery.
Stocks are running low, and it is making everybody nervous. Harry understands there can be serious trouble if the wrong individuals hear about this, but he is ready to allow Kojo to get framed unfairly.
Meanwhile, Anna Knight returns at a good time as Elaine’s health concerns persist.
Romance also gets hot between Callum Highway and Johnny Carter as their relationship progresses.
At the same time, Peter and Lauren Branning receive disturbing news about baby Jimmy, and Cindy intensifies tension by further stoking the flames. For more EastEnders spoilers and news, keep following Soap Opera Daily.
