Things have been going on and off with her mother too. Stacey abandoned her, as she was also struggling with Martin’s death. Earlier during the funeral, Lily instead chose to drink a bottle of vodka, as she could not face it. When her mother found her all drunk, she tried to make some amends with her, but she failed.
