Joel is set to become a part of a dark storyline. He arrived in Walford earlier this year with Ross and Vicki. However, later soap fans learned that while living in Australia, he took a photo of one of his schoolmates and shared it online. Ross paid money to the classmate’s family so that they wouldn’t go to the police. However, they accepted but kept a demand that Joel shouldn’t return to Sydney.
So, Joel moved to Albert Square. Meanwhile, Ross and Vicki hoped that Joel had changed. However, his behaviour didn’t change as he recorded himself and Avani Nandra Hart having sex without Avani’s consent. Meanwhile, Avani is unaware that Joel made a video. But online trolling is troubling her as rumours spread about her and Joel sleeping together.
Vicki Is Sad – Joel Manipulates Tommy!
Meanwhile, in this week’s episode, Amy Mitchell discloses to Vicki that Joel is the reason that Avani is getting trolled. He manipulated her into sleeping with him. Then Vicki informs Ross about this. They conclude that Joel needs better role models in his life. Furthermore, they think that Joel would get better under the company of Tommy Moon. They are unaware that he influenced Tommy to pay for adult videos using Alfie Moon’s credit card.
