Many beloved characters of the BBC soap will be left fighting for their lives this autumn, per EastEnders Spoilers. As the show is nearing its four-decade milestone, a dramatic new storyline that will shake things up is following up to the Square. According to reports, a fire is set to rip through Walford, and even though details of the event are not yet revealed completely, it looks like the drama is spiralling on the soap opera. EastEnders spoilers confirm that an explosive fire storyline is on the cards for Walford residents this autumn. With the BBC programme approaching its 40th anniversary, The Sun reports that a fire will ramp up the drama. This means several of our fan-favourite characters lives’ will hang in balance. Furthermore, it also looks like history might be repeating itself since the Square has been through its fair share of infernos over the years.
Long-time viewers must remember the explosions and arsons that took place, including the Queen Vic fire in 2010. During this, we saw the EastEnders legend Peggy Mitchell quite literally fighting the fire to save her pub. The details of this upcoming chaos still remain under wraps, but something tells us that several people will be at risk, which will definitely bring some huge danger or even circle around death.
As per speculations, one character who might be nearing his end on the BBC soap is Nish Panesar. Viewers know that the evil Panesar patriarch was introduced on the show in 2022 and has been working towards his business empire while making his wife’s life difficult. Last year, Nish was at the centre of The Six storyline, but he survived. However, his bad karma soon caught up to him, and he is suffering from a life-threatening condition.

Even though his exit has not been confirmed officially, Nish actor Navin Chowdhry, while speaking about his character’s fate, said, “He has spent most of his time since he’s been back causing hell for everyone else, and suddenly he’s been dealt the harshest card.”
No matter how much we hate Nish but, he sure knows how to wreak havoc all around. He was recently invited to his son’s birthday party and tried to play nice, but is he capable of being nice?
