Lola Pearce-Brown Makes A Comeback For Janet’s Birthday!
EastEnders spoilers relay that the popular character who passed away last year in one of the BBC programme’s most emotional storylines ever made a surprise cameo. Regular viewers witnessed the whole Mitchell clan getting together in the Vic to celebrate Janet’s 18th birthday. Lola was Janet’s aunt and now she has become the latest member of the family to get a video message.
We saw Billy and Janet showing Queen Vic barmaid Gina Knight the emotional clip by late Lola. In the video, former cast member Danielle Harold, as Lola, told Janet, “I just wanted to stop by and wish you a massive happy birthday on your 18th birthday! Wow! I bet mum and dad have spoiled you rotten. They love you, and they’re so proud of you. Happy birthday, darling!” The clip ended with Lola blowing a big kiss for Janet, and this was the best present the birthday girl received.
Harold has made a few cameos since her exit last year. The soap opera has previously shown Lola recording video messages to be played at family milestones after her death from cancer. One such video saw Pearce saying words of encouragement to daughter Lexi on her first day of school last autumn. We think that Danielle recorded these scenes in advance rather than returning to the set and filming the messages in more recent months.

After leaving Walford, the Lola actress appeared on last year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, where she finished in sixth place. She also participated in Celebrity Hunted and Celebrity Masterchef, as well as filming an appearance on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip with former co-star Max Bowden. Fans loved Lola on the show and would definitely like to see more of her on the longest-running BBC soap. So stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more such EastEnders spoilers & updates!
