Tracy-Ann Oberman Takes Over Chrissie’s Role!
The wait is finally over! The iconic villain of Walford, Chrissie Watts, will make a thrilling return to the BBC soap next week. For the unversed, the soap bosses announced Tracy-Ann Oberman will step back in the role of Chrissie after being away for almost two decades. During her time on the soap, Oberman was a part of some of the most intriguing storylines, which included killing her ex-husband, Den Watts.
Long-time viewers know that Chrissie killed her partner Den and then tried to cover up the murder with help from Zoe Slater and Sam Mitchell. However, during a drunken adventure, Sam Mitchell was found guilty after he dug up Den’s body from The Vic Barrel Store. But the truth has a way to come forward on soap operas and Chrissie was then caught for her crime after Phil Mitchell rushed to her sister’s support.
The character was last seen on the soap in 2005, and now that she is returning, fans are more excited than ever. Furthermore, the details of her explosive comeback have been kept tightly under wraps. Viewers of the longest-running show will witness a Chrissie named Haley’s comet on Monday, September 9th.
