There will be a devastating twist in the Yolande Trueman storyline soon, per EastEnders Spoilers. Regular viewers know that Yolande was sexually assaulted by Pastor Clayton earlier this year while the duo worked together for the church. After going through a few difficult days, Yolande opened up to her family about the evil Pastor and then reported everything to the police.
Even though there wasn’t enough evidence at the beginning of all this, there were two other women who came forward after witnessing Yolande’s strength. This led to Pastor getting imprisoned for his misdeeds, and he was then charged with two counts of sexual assault. While this storyline was on halt for a couple of months, it will be revisited in the scenes coming up next week.
EastEnders Spoilers relay that Yolande will be hesitant about attending the Harvest Festival celebrations at the community centre – which is where Clayton assaulted her. However, she will gain confidence after learning that a third woman has come forward in the case against Pastor. After reeling this information in, she gets her strength and decides to go to the community centre.

After Yolande reaches the center, everyone is delighted to see her, but things take a saddening turn when Clayton’s wife, Stella, arrives. She will ask Yolande to take her statement back, but in response, she will end up getting some harsh truths. Later, Pastor himself barges in and asks Yolande to retract her statement once again, but she refuses. Facing her attacker like this will make her feel stronger.
However, things will taken a drastic turn later that evening after police arrives and informs Yolande and her family that Pastor has committed suicide. The whole family will stand around Yolande as she tries to come to terms with Clayton’s ordeal. What will happen now? Will Yolande be able to handle this? What do you think?
