Betrayals, murders and taking extreme measures to deal with a problem sounds like a normal day on soaps, tease EastEnders spoilers. The BBC One soap has revealed that in dark and harrowing scenes, a woman will die after being on screen for a year at the hands of her own husband.
Viewers know Reiss Colwell has been facing several obstacles with finances, handling two women. But, it seems like he will take care of one of his problems permanently. Read on to learn more about it!
Reiss Colwell Makes BOLD Moves; Kills Someone
EastEnders spoilers remember Gray Atkins who murdered his wife Chantelle, Kush Kazemi and Tina Carter. He was then caught and imprisoned two years ago bringing his reign of terror to an end. However, a creepy wife killer has again made its way to Walford. Regular viewers know Reiss Colwell and Sonia Fowler have been together for a while and have been trying to have a baby for a long time now.

However, the couple has been stressed over financial issues in recent weeks, especially Reiss. When all of this started, Reiss used Debbie’s money to fund Sonia’s IVF journey. Things started getting worse, and he started scamming Sharon into paying for Debbie’s care as well. He has successfully managed to scam the Walford businesswoman, but Phil Mitchell saw right through him. This prompted Phil to corner Reiss and issue a chilling threat.
EE spoilers suggest that Reiss was scared and left the place as soon as possible. He didn’t realise that Sonia had visited Debbie and had made a decision to sell her million-pound home to pay for everything.
Before leaving, Sonia fluffed up Debbie’s pillows, which left her DNA and potential fingerprints all over it. With all the pressure Reiss had from Phil, he went to visit Debbie with a clear plan to kill her.

Reiss doesn’t want to lose Sonia and their new baby and to fix his problems; viewers will see him breaking down and smothering Debbie’s face with a pillow while sobbing. Debbie actress Jenny Meier made her debut in 2023, and despite appearing in many episodes, her character never had a single line. Her final appearance saw Debbie being killed by Reiss.
