Chrissie Watts’ Former Flame Jake Returns
EastEnders Spoilers confirm an explosive twist as a Walford favourite returned from the dead after 18 big years – with Joel Beckett reprising his role as Jake Moon. The fan-favourite character was last seen in 2006 on the BBC soap when he was forced to leave Square when gangster Johnny Allen’s cellmate misunderstood the villain’s final words. But after almost two decades of not knowing the whereabouts of Jake, the truth was finally revealed this week.
Regular viewers witnessed Jake heading back to Walford very much alive with former flame, Chrissie Watts after her long prison release after Sharon decided not to make a complaint to the governor. We saw Chrissie Watts making her own bombshell return after being away for 19 years last week. It was then revealed that the villainous duo has still been together, with Jake confirming he had waited for her for all these years.
On Thursday, viewers saw Chrissie in a flashy car heading to The Queen Vic with a mystery man. Even though it was clear that it was Jake, fans were unsure, given that he died years ago. After stepping out of the car, Chrissie looked at Walford and said, “Just had to see her one last time. Fancy a swift half?” Jake told her that he had waited to get his hands on her again and would like to spend time with her elsewhere.

The iconic couple then drove off to start a new life away from all the chaos. However, Chrissie’s return will have a drastic impact on Sharon after she let slip a long hidden secret regarding Ruby Allen.
