Regular viewers know that Jean Slater and Harvey Monroe have been together for quite some time, but the duo hit the rocks over the summer when Jean finds out that her boyfriend is hiding something crucial from her. However, something tells us that the iconic couple might find their way back to each other soon, but how? Read on to find out!
EastEnders Spoilers have confirmed that Jean and Harvey will reunite after the couple share their fears about Kat Slater. Viewers of the BBC soap know that their relationship took a bad turn after Jean found out that Harvey was working more than ever to make money for Maya Houssain. It happened after the Walford cabbie realised that his son Aaron attempted to kill Maya’s husband a few years ago.
However, Jean soon found out about it and confronted her partner about it. Harvey confessed all about it but this led to Jean deciding that she can’t be someone she doesn’t trust and bid a temporary goodbye to the Square. After returning briefly, she then left again with her daughter to Greece when Harvey gifted them a holiday he won in a radio competition.

While leaving for her vacation, Jean told Harvey that they would discuss the fate of their relationship after she’s back. However, in the scenes this week, she remains frosty with him. However, things might soon change after Jean worries about Kat Slater’s well-being. We know that Kat is currently involved in a devastating child-parent abuse storyline with her son Tommy. She’s trying to keep the ordeal a secret, but Jean will sense something.
Jean will soon become increasingly suspicious about Kat and she will confide in Harvey about it. Their conversation will soon divert to their romantic relationship, and the couple will try to give it another try. But, this could once again hit some blocks as Kathy and Harvey’s friendship grows.
