EastEnders: Linda, Anna, And George Try To Get Through To Elaine
As Freddie breaks down and Cindy loses grip on a big event, Elaine rides to the rescue in spectacular style. But not everyone is impressed with her victory.
While Cindy is flustered at being short-staffed at The Albert, she leaves Freddie to organise a key event. Overwhelmed and stuck for entertainment, Freddie dreads disaster. But at the last minute, Elaine rides to the rescue, sequins and all, to save the day.
“Elaine is a born showman,” reports a source. “Even resentful Cindy can’t help but say thank you.”
But not everyone is clapping. Linda is still worried sick about her mum’s health and feels she needs to rest more. When Anna gets back from Spain, she’s angry that George never apprised her of the sale of the pub or his divorce. She soon shifts her attention to Elaine’s health and asks Linda to intervene.
Can George Get Through To Elaine Before It’s Too Late?
No matter what they do, Elaine won’t listen. Anna does something extreme; she insists George talk to Elaine himself. She thinks Elaine will listen to him, even if her marriage with him is not going to last.
“Elaine’s love for George was very real,” the source adds. “He still wants what’s best for her.”
