When Sam returns to the Square, she quickly heads to Phil’s safe. However, Nigel catches her at home. And he mistakes her for Clare Bates and lets her walk off with the cash. However, outside, she comes face-to-face with Zoe Slater. And things take an ugly turn when Zoe accuses her of tormenting her for the past days.
Later, Phil sees that money is missing. He then asks Nigel, who gives him a wrong description. And Phil jumps to the conclusion that Nicola stole the money. However, he sees Sam and Kat arguing, and it clicks him that it’s Sam who stole the money, not Nicola. Sam then goes to McKlunky’s to meet Ricky. However, Jack Branning sees her and Ricki together. And when he questioned she confessed to having found a lump, and it could be cancer.
And when Jack was questioning her as to why she didn’t see a doctor, Phil arrived at that moment. However, Denise overhears everything. And thus she decided to strike a deal with her. She wanted her to open and start taking things seriously. Later, while having dinner, she realised that Jack and Denise were bluffing.
She then begs Phil for a place to stay. Elsewhere, she is already ready with her next move. When Phil and Julie film Nigel’s project at The Arches, she quietly slips out.
