Lauren Steps Into Mark’s Shady Plan
Mother’s Day brings tension before breakfast as Lauren tries to finish a car deal. However, she faces problems when a buyer insists on a test drive. And so she refuses it as it’s rooted in the vintage car theft she suffered earlier. Elsewhere, Max witnesses this and immediately steps in.
The Branning man uses this opportunity to enter the Beale family’s plans for the day. Later, Peter tries to make the occasion special for Lauren. However, an argument breaks out,= and Max walks out. Once Max is gone, Mark moves in and pitches a luxury car arrangement that sounds profitable for Lauren to accept. Unaware of what’s really happening, she agrees.
Soon enough, she nets her first sale. So, when Max gets a little uneasy while going over the papers, Lauren just dismisses his worries. Later, she roots for Priya while she practices her sales pitch. At the same time, the gals are getting along very well until Callum comes with the news. The vintage car stolen from Lauren’s mugging has been found. In fact, several high-end cars have gone missing from the area.
Now, suspicious Lauren confronts Mark about what’s really going on. Later, Lauren and Peter speak with another parent about a specialist nursery for visually impaired children. Even though they get excited initially, the cost fades their excitement. Now the couple is forced to seek help from their families.
Bea Pollard Crosses A Dangerous Line
Linda Carter braces herself for a difficult Mother’s Day at The Vic. It’s because her son Johnny has been keeping a distance. However, soon things get trickier as Linda is forced to invite Bea. Later, Elaine and Bea trade frosty remarks about money. This upsets Bea, and she walks out.
Back at the Mitchell’s home, Bea tries to apply for a credit card to ease her financial strain. However, her application is turned down. But this doesn’t stop Bea, and she opens one using Honey’s identity instead.
Also, Billy, Janet and Will soon return home without Honey, as she’s busy tending to her Aunt Caroline. Later, Bea realises that she has emptied their kitchen cupboards. Determined to prove she’s useful, she rushes out and lands a job at McKlunky’s.
Also, the fraudulent card arrives in the post. Elsewhere, when Harvey points out that Bea has become fixated with the family, Billy gets uneasy. She snaps at her for arranging a Saturday job for Will without asking.
Jean Returns To Mend Things In EastEnders
Jean finally arrives at Walford after her stay with Lynne. However, the tension with Zoe hasnt fully settled.
She overhears Zoe’s emotional call with Kat. And then Jean remembers Alfie’s advice and decides to break the ice. She reaches out and apologises to Zoe.
EastEnders: Josh And Sandra’s Arrival Shakes Things Up
Denise and Kim panic when they hear that a woman named Sandra has been asking around about Jasmine. Worried that this could link back to Anthony, they prepare for the worst. However, soon they learn that Sandra is Josh’s adoptive mum and Josh is the son Zoe gave up years ago.
When Sandra is telling the sisters about their connection to Jasmine, Josh just happens to appear. Wanting to get things straight, he ends up having a drink with Denise and Kim at The Albert. However, Denise unwittingly brings up Zoe. And Josh gets up and leaves in a huff. He swears to himself that he will not have any dealings with his birth mother.
Later, Sandra reaches out to Denise, asking for help to bridge the gap. And Patrick writes a heartfelt letter sharing his story. And when Sandra convinces Josh to read it, something changes. Soon, Josh returns to Walford and tells Denise and Kim that he’s ready to meet the Trueman family. But before that, something, or rather someone else, pulls his attention. He crosses paths with Oscar Branning.
Suki Clashes With Penny Over The Pregnancy
Suki learns about Penny’s pregnancy. And it becomes harder to ignore. Later, Kack invites the family over for lunch as he wants to discuss the baby.
While everyone else is supportive, Suki is unable to ignore her concerns. Later, she clashes with both Penny and Vinny. Will the new parents be able to convince Suki?
Linda’s Hunt For Max Leads To A Shocking Discovery
