His pal would try to flee from his protectiveness in haste to prove himself amid the Easter egg hunt. Nigel will dress up as an Easter Bunny at Yolande’s request. Things will be going well until he ends up in a fight with Harvey. This will happen as ill residents will confuse Hope with Clare. As Harvey, Jean, and Ian will question his friends, he will reveal his ongoing diagnosis.
Moving ahead, at the house, Phil will discover that Nigel was wanting to end his own life as his health keeps on deteriorating. As he will try to explain himself to his pal, Phil will refuse to listen and instead walk away. Later Jean will have a heartfelt conversation with Nigel about his dementia.
But he will remain quiet about what Phil has found. Whereas devastated Phil went to go and see Linda. She will encourage him to be supportive towards his best friend. As he understands her point, he will head home to solve things with Nigel.
But as he reaches home, he will find a goodbye letter written by Nigel as he tries to leave Albert Square. When he is found, the friends will make amendments as Nigel agrees to return home. But soon he will have a breakdown when he confesses that he wants to take his own life before his diagnosis does. As Phil’s efforts fail, Yolande will come up with an idea.

Earlier, it was revealed that Teddy has been planning to kick start his project with Junior Knight at the same place Shireen’s body is buried. When she got to know his plan, she tried to convince him by saying that Dartford is where they used to live. He almost got convinced but later kept the deal on secretly. She will overhear him speaking to his business partner about the same in a muted tone, and she will get more suspicious.
When she confronts him, he will reveal the truth and tell her that Ross is also part of the deal. Well, she is Nicole, and she will just not surrender this easily.
