We are all in for a bumpy ride as the show prepares for a shocking showdown between Chelsea and Penny, per EastEnders Spoilers. Regular viewers know that there has been an ongoing cat fight between Chelsea and Penny ever since Penny manipulated her way into the managerial job at Peggy’s. Things got worse when a club crush took place, and Penny was blamed, and her life came to a pit stop.
However, this is all far from the truth. Viewers of the BBC programme know that Chelsea tried to sabotage workplace rival Penny by overselling tickets for a club night. This led to a stampede of impatient guests and several injuries. This also affected Penny’s job, and she was ultimately fired from Peggy’s. We saw Walford youngster Amy Mitchell getting seriously hurt, and everyone has been blaming her.
Speaking about the storyline, Penny portrayer Kitty Castledine told a publication that her character has been feeling a lot of mixed emotions, mostly she’s feeling lonely. She added, ‘She knows she needs to prove herself, so she’s very desperate and is going to start clinging on to friendships and relationships because she feels like she needs people. Right now, she’s feeling excluded.’

In the scenes to air, Chelsea’s mom will expose her daughter’s truth while trying to fix Penny and Jack’s relationship. It looks like Amy’s recovery will not go as expected, which will lead to a huge row between Jack and his daughter Penny. After feeling alone from all sides, Penny will decide to move back to Paris to start fresh in her life. Castledine explained, ‘She’s hit rock bottom, and she doesn’t know what to do.’
But it will soon be revealed that Chelsea is the one to blame for the mass crushing, not Penny. After learning the truth, Jack will want Chelsea to hand herself in to the police, but Chelsea might not agree initially. As for Penny, Kitty highlighted that she’s shocked and deeply hurt not just by Chelsea but also by Denise. This whole ordeal took a toll on Penny, and she was literally planning to leave Walford forever.
