A legendary character on the BBC programme might soon be bidding farewell to the soap after a tumultuous few months, tease EastEnders Spoilers. Viewers know that Linda’s fate has been ‘revealed’ after she was found in a life-threatening situation on the soap this week. Not only this, but the Queen Vic lady has been struggling for a while with the burden of killing Keanu Taylor. Will she leave Walford forever? Read on to find out!

Linda Carter Is Struggling, Will She Reveal The Truth?

EastEnders Spoilers relay that the Carter matriarch has had a difficult year so far, having fallen back into the clutches of alcoholism after stabbing Keanu to death. After covering up the crime with The Six’s help, Linda has been struggling with her guilt and the fear of being caught out. Long-time viewers know that The Six framed Dean Wicks for their actions, and Linda gave a false statement that put him at the scene of the crime. 

However, with Dean soon set to face trial, Johnny’s mother is under a lot of pressure, and the realisation that she will be lying again is disturbing her. Furthermore, Dean has been trying to get Linda to speak the truth by sending poison pen letters through Bernie, insisting that she knows what Linda is hiding. This spent her spiralling and she resorted to the bottle once again to deal with her issues.

But, this alcoholism has now put her in a life-threatening situation, which is making the fans worried about what might happen to her next. Even though nothing has been confirmed about Linda’s fate, this is clearly the most seriously ill she has been in a while. Some viewers will no doubt be fearful that this could be the end of Linda actor Kellie Bright’s time on the BBC programme.

While nothing has been confirmed, it is likely that this storyline might see Kellie taking a small break from Walford. Last month, in an interview, Kellie revealed she thinks Linda would be ‘relieved’ to be caught out for what she did to Keanu.
