EastEnders Pits Vicki Against Bernie Following Shocking Betrayal
Vicki turns to Bernie Taylor for a loan, requesting an advance to remain at Number 43.
But Bernie gives her the sack instead, and Vicki takes revenge. She steals Bernie’s laptop and discovers that Bernie has been quietly embezzling money from the Panesar accounts.
Spitting chips at a chance to wipe out her debts, Vicki blackmails Bernie. She wants half of the embezzled profits in return for her silence. With no choice, Bernie tells Felix, who advises tact with the Panesars.
Feeling confident in her new plan, Vicki asks Zack to convince Sharon to let them stay. Kathy supports her until she discovers how Vicki got the money.
Kathy is shocked by her niece’s behaviour and tells Suki the truth without hesitation.
Panesars Face Fallout as Secrets Unravel
As Priya and Ravi start questioning the extent of Bernie’s involvement in handling their business accounts, Suki intervenes. Even though she stands up for Bernie at first, Kathy’s confession turns the tables.
Bernie quickly blames Vicki, and Ravi and Priya are left furious. They want to punish Vicki, but Suki demands control.
Bernie is angry at Vicki while Ravi lays a trap at Walford East. Again, Priya and Ravi look deeper into the records and involve Vinny in the investigation.
