EastEnders: A Family Struggles To Stay Together
The week begins well with Jay calling on No. 25 and soothing baby Jimmy by playing the guitar. Peter had been finding it difficult to soothe him, so Jay’s visit was a welcome one.
Subsequently, Lauren catches Peter receiving a guitar lesson from Jay, who tells him to move on and attend to his family.
After a renewed sense of hope, Lauren organises a picnic in the Square Gardens to surprise Peter. But Cindy turns up with Ian and spoils their peaceful moment. Cindy sees Lauren embracing Zack earlier in the day. Convinced something is happening, she tells Ian that Lauren is cheating on Peter.
Despite tension between them, Lauren and Peter confide in Louie about Jimmy’s eye condition. The moment closes them up until Cindy’s words compel Lauren to spill the kiss she exchanged with Zack.
Peter Walks Away Before Kids Vanish
The following day, Peter is not speaking to Lauren and preoccupies himself with his first day at the fruit and veg stall. But he can’t escape her for very long.
At the hospital, the pair discovers that Jimmy’s blindness was due to an unusual mutation.
Doctors confirm the condition does not come from family history or drug use. The news will bring them relief, but it will provoke another row between them. This time, Lauren storms out in rage.
Things become even darker when Louie and Jimmy disappear. No one has any idea where they are or who may have done it. For more EastEnders spoilers and news, follow Soap Opera Daily.
