EastEnders’ Stacey To Say Goodbye To Walford Soon
EastEnders actress Lacey Turner revealed that she is ready to look for opportunities beyond the soap. She will be leaving the soap later this year. Turner joined the soap 21 years ago, and now it seems the time has come for her to move forward, leaving Stacey behind for a while. The actress told the Sun: “It’s time for me and Stacey to take a rest, and who knows what Stacey will get up to in her time away?” She further added that Stacey can never be boring.
She recently even spoke about motherhood and how challenging it can be. “The world today leads you to believe that the most expensive option is the best, but that’s not the case,” she added. Lacey further said that there is no shame in being frugal; “it’s a skill”.
She further spoke that it is okay if you dress your kid in high street clothes and it is so ‘crazy’ that people nowadays save to become parents. Turner further added that becoming parents is the luckiest thing that can happen to anyone. “Why aren’t we making it normal, easy and open and honest as possible?” she said.
Makers Are Already Planning For Stacey’s Comeback.
An insider said that Lacey decided it last year only that she wants to take a break from the soap. “She’s had a busy year both on and off screen, so it feels a good time to give Stacey a rest.”
The insider further added that there is no doubt in how much Lacey loves the soap or how much the soap loves her back. There is no question of if she will return or not; it is just that we have to see when. A spokeswoman from the soap said, “We can confirm that Lacey will be off-screen later this year.”
She further added that there is a good dose of drama coming, and they are already planning towards Stacey’s return. Earlier in February Martin died moments after expressing his love for Stacey.
