Max and Linda’s recent closeness has brought them to a place neither expected. They had a messy history, but now both are single. Also, now he is aware that he is Annie’s dad. However, he had been carrying a secret. Max has been keeping quiet about his grandson, Louie, who is bullying Ollie at school. Elsewhere, Max has also made it clear that he wants more than friendship with Linda.
Elsewhere, Ian and Elaine keep on fighting. And even their families are tired of their rivalry. This week at Peacock Palace, he tries to make amends with not only Linda but also with Elaine. He promised to end Ian’s ongoing feud over the hotel.
Later, Max speaks to her daughter, Lauren and opens up honestly about his feelings for Linda. A source explains, “It’s a huge shock for Lauren. Her dad isnt exactly known for his sincerity. But it’s obvious to her that he is being totally genuine here.”
Trying to make things right, Max brings Louie to see Ollie. Then Louie apologises, and the boys settle the matter. And these small steps made a huge difference as Linda notices how much effort Max is putting in for Ollie’s sake. Also, slowly she softens, but she doesn’t forget the mistake.

After everything was settled, Linda contacted her ex-lover, Max. She asks him out for a drink because she wants to secure a peaceful future for Annie. Carter wished to have a usual co-parenting arrangement with their kid without any further disputes. But Max has a plan of his own which is bigger than just co-parenting. He desires to make their friendship into a genuine love relationship. Moreover, he cannot keep his feelings a secret for long.
He has already confessed to Lauren about it. And now he is waiting to see how Linda will react. She had once pushed him away before Christmas, and the timing wasn’t right. However, now things are different between them.
