A journalist approached her for a podcast interview about Riess. When Bianca informed her sister about the same, she asked her to turn down the offer.

She opened up about how her sister Bianca has hurt her in the recent plot. “Sonia is going through all that frustration and exasperation, but she will never hate her sister.” The actress continued and says that ‘her character thinks, why does her sister listen to her once and do the right thing?’
“Now look what’s happened,” she added. Further, Cassidy sheds light on what is going to happen with Sonia in the upcoming week. Says, “Sometimes, when big life events happen, you find that someone might pop out of the woodwork to open your eyes.” ‘That changes your life,’ the soap star added.
The actress added that ‘it felt very final to her, but it also feels nice.’ ‘It is a good place to leave the character, especially after what all has happened,’ she added. Natalie further said, ‘After all that Ries has done, the only thing she can do is leave the square.’ “After 32 years, Sonia is ingrained in me; I will never be able to say her goodbye,” Cassidy added.
