EastEnders spoilers suggest that Nigel will get upset with Phil as he will not celebrate his best man’s birthday. His worsening condition has started affecting his memory. Previously he got confused and thought that this is 1995 and they are celebrating VE Day’s 50th anniversary. Somehow Jean managed to pull off a celebration for him where he enjoyed himself despite not knowing that he had confused the years.
Earlier Harvey called him a pervert as he confused young Hope with his daughter Clare. But later it was revealed that he has dementia and this happened because of it. Speaking of Clare, he has been missing his daughter lately and wants her by his side. Yolande even told him to speak to her and make things better. In the upcoming episode he will be really upset with Nigel. When Phil, Yolande, Billy and Honey ask what has happened, he will reveal the truth.

Phil will come up with an idea of celebrating his belated birthday. He will then tell his friends that he wishes to go to the cinema, and they will all agree.
