All of it makes it very essential to work with Dementia UK. Head of Research and Publications at Dementia UK, Dr Karen Harrison Dening, too, has shared his thoughts on the same.
He said, “We hope this storyline helps to shed some light on the challenges a diagnosis of young-onset dementia can bring.” The doctor further added that ‘thousands of people in the UK are facing it, and it truly comes with sensitive topics and hard truths.’ Even the production teams have understood how fragile this topic is.
They have promised to portray the story with utmost sensitivity. They hope that their efforts encourage the people to speak up about their condition. Hopefully they reach out for help to their dementia specialist Admiral Nurses for support whenever they need it.
