The Mitchell family will be devastated and heartbroken in the coming week, state EastEnders spoilers. Billy Mitchell will receive the mortifying news about her birth mother being dead. Regular viewers know that poor Billy has already been dealing with an estranged dad and a secret-half brother storyline. And now the update of his mother passing away will definitely strike a cord for him. What will he do then? Read on to catch up!
Will Billy Mitchell Lose Both His Parents Soon?
EastEnders spoilers for the upcoming week reveal that Billy will plan a surprise party for his dad. He then tells his son, Will, that both his parents shared a birthday, but he doesn’t know anything about his mom’s (Val) whereabouts. However, it looks like this storyline will lead to a sadder ending. While discussing this storyline, Billy actor Perry Fenwick reflected on how Mo was the one who reminded him of Stevie’s birthday.
The EastEnders star added, ‘They haven’t had many birthdays together, and none since Billy was about eight years old. So, Billy decides to do something family-wise and quickly pulls together something at The Vic. The fact it’s Stevie’s birthday also makes Billy think of his mum, who shared the same birthday as his dad. He’s thinking, “Oh wow, wherever Mum is, it’s her birthday too.”’
Furthermore, the spoilers relay that Phil might overhear Teddy and Stevie talking about keeping something from Billy, so he will hire an investigator to do some research. When everyone enjoys the surprise party, Billy takes the stage and makes an emotional speech in which he speaks about his mum and wishes her well. Unfortunately for Will’s father, the night will end on a happy note. After reaching home, Stevie confesses that Val is dead.
Fenwick also shared his insights on this scene and said, ‘They leave the party, and Phil makes Stevie tell Billy that his mum died and the circumstances surrounding her death. It’s absolutely devastating for Billy because the news she’s dead is hard enough, but there’s much more to it.’

Even though Phil might think that he’s protecting Billy. But he’s not thinking about how Billy might react after he blackmails Stevie into revealing such a news. Perry also mentioned how this heartbreaking news could send Billy over the edge and screw everything up.
With the whole family dealing with such a big revelation, Billy will be furious at Phil for trying to destroy his new relationships. This will also lead to Stevie planning to leave Walford forever.
The EastEnders actor shared his admiration for Stevie actor Alan Ford. He said, ‘I’ve known and admired Alan for a long time – he’s a real-life ‘East Ender,’ Years ago, I saw him do a one-man show, and he’s incredibly funny, and he reminds me of my dad in real life.’
He also spoke about how everybody on the soap loves Alan, and hopes that he’s convinced to stay! We would love to see Stevie in Walford now that he has another son, too.
