EastEnders spoilers have finally revealed the real reason as to why Bobby Beale doesn’t want to celebrate his birthday this year and it is truly devastating. As per the soap, Bobby will soon turn 21-years-old and it is not everyday that people turn 21 so it definitely calls for a celebration. Furthermore, Anna Knight and Freddie Slater have been trying to find what he would like to really do on his special day.
But, Bobby has been brushing off all their plans, which has left his girlfriend and best mate confused. Along with Anna and Freddie, Bobby’s brother Peter is also keen on finding out what his brother’s plans are for his birthday. To which Bobby got all defensive and told Peter that he doesn’t want to commemorate this day. When Peter pushes him to come forward with the real reason, he finally gives an answer.

The spoilers suggest that Bobby will confide in his elder brother and tell him when he turns 21, he will be older than his late sister, Lucy. It seems like Lucy died when she was 20, and Bobby doesn’t want to celebrate the age that his sister wasn’t able to because it breaks his heart. Long-time viewers know that Bobby Beale killed his sister Lucy in 2014 after he hit her over the head with a jewellery box and has been living with this guilt ever since.
He also explained to Peter how he wouldn’t like the feeling of celebration when Lucy never got a chance. Furthermore, the fact that he was the reason why she was dead made everything worse. The spoilers relay that Peter will want to console his brother but before he could say anything, Bobby will storm out.
