EastEnders: Elaine Feels Betrayed by Linda’s Big Vic Decision
Elaine Knight is utterly shocked when Linda Carter chooses to sell her stake in The Queen Vic. While Elaine has been ignoring her daughter of late, the decision still wounds her.
Elaine has spent the last few weeks socialising, handing out free drinks to neighbours, and turning a blind eye to underage drinking at the pub. She did not take care, and things went wrong. Teens took vapes, and younger kids got hold of them.
For Linda, that was the breaking point. Under the weight of toxic memories and mounting pressures, she decides to quit the Vic. While George embarks on his battle for Elaine’s half in the divorce settlement, Linda’s nightmares only get bigger.
Elaine’s Anxiety Boils Over After Police Visit and Bank Rejection
In scenes to come, police turn up at the door to quiz Elaine over her wild behaviour. As the pub’s licence is now at risk, Linda rushes to the cafe and bumps into George.
They have an emotional heart-to-heart, and although George is a fan of her choice, he urges her to think of Elaine’s feelings. Unknown to them, Elaine observes and jumps to the wrong conclusion. She presumes that they are conspiring against her.
Persistent to safeguard her future, Elaine approaches the bank for a loan but is rejected.
Desperate, she approaches Johnny, requesting him to be her silent partner. He declines, asserting that it is time for the family to divest the pub. Overpowered by worry, Elaine falls ill from the pressure. Will she get over this breaking point? For more EastEnders spoilers and news, follow Soap Opera Daily.
